Posyandu adolescents in Juanga Village, South Morotai, need volunteers who are able to accurately convey information on reproductive health while implementing the standardized five-station service process. This community service initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of 20 adolescent volunteers through training on reproductive health and service mentoring. The activity was carried out in coordination with the Juanga Village Government and the Daruba Community Health Center, consisting of two-day in-person training session on April 17–18, 2026, using lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and educational materials, followed by structured mentoring for six months at the five-station Adolescent Posyandu service. An evaluation showed that the volunteers’ knowledge improved consistently; after the training, 18 volunteers (90%) were in the “good” knowledge category, and no volunteers remained in the “poor” knowledge category. After the mentoring period, 3 volunteers (15%) were highly competent, 12 (60%) were competent, and 5 (25%) were moderately competent in performing registration, measurements, record-keeping, support for screening and iron supplement distribution, as well as education/counseling. All volunteers completed the training series and entered the mentoring phase. The program produced health workers with improved service readiness and established a model for ongoing capacity building in collaboration with the Daruba Community Health Center. Follow-up efforts focused on periodic refresher training, competency supervision on a station-by-station basis, and specialized training for health workers who remained in the “fairly competent” category.
